Your primary email is the main contact point for your Speako account.
What is the Primary Email?
The primary email is used for:
- Account notifications
- Password reset requests
- Important account communications
- Billing notifications
Identifying Your Primary Email
In the Email Management section:
- The primary email shows a crown icon
- It's listed first among your emails
Changing Your Primary Email
- Navigate to Dashboard > Profile
- Find the Email Management card
- Locate the email you want to make primary
- Click Set as Primary Requirements:
- The email must be verified
- You can only have one primary email at a time
Before Changing Your Primary Email
Consider that:
- Future notifications go to the new primary email
- Password resets will be sent there
- The previous primary becomes a secondary email
Why Change Your Primary Email?
Common reasons:
- Switching from a personal to work email
- Old email no longer accessible
- Consolidating your account to a new address
