Before going live, preview how your greetings sound. This article explains the audio preview feature.
What Is Greeting Preview?
The greeting preview generates an audio version of your greeting using your selected voice. You can listen to exactly what callers will hear.
Previewing a Greeting
- Go to AI Config > Greetings
- Enter or edit your greeting text
- Click the Preview button (speaker icon)
- Wait for audio generation
- Listen to the preview in the audio player
How Preview Works
When you click preview:
- Your greeting text is processed
- Variables are replaced with sample values
- Audio is generated using your selected voice
- The audio player appears with the result
Variable Replacement in Preview
During preview, variables are replaced with example values:

This lets you hear how personalized greetings will sound.
Using the Audio Player
The preview player lets you:
- Play — Start or resume playback
- Pause — Stop temporarily
- Seek — Jump to specific points
- Adjust Volume — Control playback volume
Testing Different Voices
To hear how greetings sound with different voices:
- Go to AI Config > Voice
- Change your voice selection
- Return to AI Config > Greetings
- Preview the greeting again The preview uses your currently selected voice.
When to Preview
Preview your greetings:
- After writing new greetings
- When changing your selected voice
- Before publishing updates
- When testing pronunciation
