What is the Legal Company Name?
The Legal Company Name is your official registered business name as it appears on legal documents, tax filings, and business registrations. This is separate from your trading name (company name) that customers see.
When to Use a Legal Company Name
You should add a legal company name if:
Your registered business name differs from your trading name
You operate as a limited company, LLC, or corporation
You need to distinguish between your legal entity and brand name For example:
Trading Name: Joe's Barber Shop
Legal Name: Joseph Smith Barbering Services Ltd
How to Add Your Legal Company Name
- Navigate to Dashboard > Business Information
- Find the Company Names card
- Click Edit to enter editing mode
- Enter your official name in the Company Legal Name field
- Click Save Changes

- This field is optional
