Open a customer profile when you need more context than the customer list can show. The profile gives your team a focused view of the customer's name, contact details, tags, notes, and booking-history area.

From the Customers page, use the edit action on a customer row to open the customer detail sheet.

Profile header

At the top of the profile, Speako shows the customer's display name. If a saved full name is not available, it builds the name from first and last name. If neither is available, the profile may show Unnamed Customer.

The header can also show:

  • an Inactive badge for deactivated customers
  • the customer ID
  • email address, if saved
  • phone number, if saved

Use the header to confirm you are viewing the right person before making changes. This is especially important when several customers have similar names.

Details tab

The Details tab contains the customer information your team can review and edit:

Section What it shows
Customer Name First and last name, with an Edit action
Email Saved email address, or No email
Phone Saved phone number, or No phone
Customer Tags Tags currently assigned to the customer
Notes Team notes about the customer, or No notes
Addresses Address details when available

Each editable field has its own Edit, Save, and Cancel controls. This lets your team update one part of the profile without changing everything else.

Bookings tab

The Bookings tab is the place to check customer booking history from the profile. If there are no bookings shown for the customer, Speako displays No booking history found.

If you expect to see a booking but the tab is empty, search the Bookings page using the customer's name, phone number, date, or booking reference. The booking may have been created with different contact details.

What missing details mean

Missing fields are not always a problem. Some customers may only provide a phone number, while others may only provide an email address. However, contact details affect customer communication:

  • email is needed for customer email updates
  • phone number helps the AI Agent recognise returning callers
  • tags help your team organise and find groups of customers

⚠️ Important: Do not overwrite a profile just because the name is similar. Confirm the phone number or email first, especially before editing notes or tags.
