Connected Accounts (Google Sign-In)

Speako supports signing in with Google as an alternative (or in addition) to your email and password. You can link or unlink your Google account from the profile page.

Where to find it

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Profile (or Account Settings). Scroll to the Connected Accounts section near the bottom of the page.

Linking your Google account

Connecting your Google account lets you sign in to Speako with one click using your Google credentials — no need to enter an email address and password.

  1. In the Connected Accounts card, click the Connect or Link Google button next to Google.
  2. A Google authorisation prompt opens.
  3. Choose the Google account you want to link.
  4. Approve the connection.

Once linked, the Google account row shows a connected indicator, and you can sign in to Speako using that Google account.

Unlinking your Google account

If you want to remove the Google connection:

  1. In the Connected Accounts card, click Disconnect or the unlink icon next to the Google account.
  2. The account is unlinked.

⚠️ Important: Before unlinking your Google account, make sure you have an email/password login method set up. If Google is your only sign-in method and you unlink it without setting a password, you may lose access to your account. See Changing Your Password for how to set a password.

Using both methods

You can have both a password and a Google account linked at the same time. This gives you flexibility — use whichever method is convenient when you log in.

Google sign-in and team invitations

If you receive an invitation to join a Speako business, you can accept it whether you have an existing account or not. If you choose to sign up with Google, the invitation gets linked to your Google-authenticated account.

💡 Tip: If your business uses Google Workspace, linking your work Google account to Speako means you can log in seamlessly without managing a separate password. This is especially convenient for team members who log in on shared or multiple devices.
