Activating Your Subscription

When you're ready to move from the trial to a paid subscription, activating takes only a moment. Once activated, your AI receptionist continues working without interruption.

When to activate

You can activate at any time during or after your trial. There's no reason to wait — activating as soon as you're confident in your setup avoids any gap in service when the trial ends.

How to activate

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing.
  2. On the trial banner, click Activate subscription.
  3. Follow the checkout flow:
    • Confirm the plan you want to subscribe to.
    • Choose monthly or annual billing.
    • Enter your payment details in the secure payment portal.
  4. Complete the payment.

Once the payment is confirmed, your subscription is active. The trial banner is replaced with your plan's subscription details.

What changes after activation

  • Your billing cycle begins on the day you activate.
  • Your monthly voice minute allowance starts fresh (based on your chosen plan).
  • Any trial minutes that haven't expired may be consumed first, then plan minutes begin.
  • All your existing configuration — AI settings, bookings, hours, services — is preserved unchanged.

Choosing your plan at activation

When activating, you choose which plan to start on. Review Available Plans Overview before activating to make sure you're selecting the right tier for your needs.

💡 Tip: If you're uncertain which plan to pick, start with Advance — it's the most popular choice for small-to-medium businesses and includes the branded booking page, multiple locations, and a healthy minute allowance. You can upgrade later if needed.

Activation requires a payment method

You'll need a valid credit or debit card to activate. If the payment portal fails to open, check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups from the Speako domain.

⚠️ Important: Activating starts a billing cycle immediately. Make sure the card you enter is the one you intend to be charged going forward. Double-check plan pricing before confirming.

After activation

Your subscription status on the Billing page changes to Active. The plan name, billing period, and next renewal date will be displayed. Welcome to Speako!
