Downloading an Invoice

You can download PDF copies of your invoices from the Invoice History table on the Billing page.

How to download an invoice

  1. Go to Dashboard โ†’ Billing.
  2. Scroll to the Invoice History table.
  3. Find the invoice you want to download.
  4. Click the Download icon (typically a download or PDF icon) on that row.
  5. The invoice PDF will download to your device.

What the PDF includes

The downloaded invoice PDF typically includes:

  • Your business name and billing information.
  • The invoice number and date.
  • A description of what was charged (e.g. "Advance Plan โ€” Monthly Subscription").
  • The total amount and currency.
  • Payment status.

Viewing instead of downloading

Alternatively, click the external link icon on an invoice row to open the hosted version in your browser. This view is hosted by the payment provider and may include additional payment details such as the card used and receipt information.

Finding older invoices

If you're looking for an invoice from several months ago:

  1. Go to the Invoice History table.
  2. Use the date filter to expand the view (try "All time" to see everything).
  3. Use the status filter if you're looking for only paid invoices.

Sharing invoices with your accountant

You can share the hosted invoice URL (from the external link view) with your accountant or bookkeeper. The hosted invoice contains the same information as the PDF download.

Alternatively, download the PDF and send it by email.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Set up a simple folder in your email or cloud storage for Speako invoices, and download a copy each month after your billing cycle renews. This makes end-of-year accounting straightforward.

โš ๏ธ Important: Invoice PDFs are generated at the time of download. If a previously open invoice has since been paid, the status on the PDF will reflect the current state.
