The sidebar is the main way to move through Speako. It changes slightly depending on the selected location type, so the items you see may differ between restaurant and service-business locations.

Understanding the sidebar helps you know whether you are editing business-wide settings, location-specific setup, or AI Agent behaviour.

Main sidebar areas

Several sidebar items are location-scoped. This means the selected location affects what you are viewing or editing.

Restaurant-only navigation

Restaurant locations include Tables. Under that area, Speako includes:

  • Tables
  • Zone Tags
  • Floor Plan

Use these areas when seating, zones, or floor layout affect bookings.

Service-business navigation

Service-business locations include Team and Services areas. These include:

  • Team Members
  • Job Titles
  • Services
  • Categories

Use these areas when bookings depend on staff, job roles, services, or service categories.

💡 Tip: If you expected to see tables but only see team and services, or the reverse, check the location type selected during setup.

AI Agent navigation

The AI Agent area is split into caller experience settings and supporting resources.

Caller experience settings include Phone Number, Greetings, Personality, and Voice & Languages. Supporting resources include Knowledges and AI Tools.

This split is useful when troubleshooting. If the agent sounds wrong, check greetings, personality, and voice settings. If the agent lacks information, check knowledge. If the agent cannot perform an action, check AI Tools and the related business setup.

Settings navigation

The Settings area includes operational service settings such as Voice AI and Online Booking, plus Team, Notifications, and Billing & Plans.

Not every settings item is scoped the same way. Before making changes, confirm whether you are working on the selected location or a broader account/business setting.
