Email verification confirms that you can access the email address used for your Speako account. If verification is shown during signup, complete it before continuing with setup.
This protects the workspace from being created under an address you cannot receive messages at.
When verification appears
Email verification may appear after signing up with an email address and password. It is not the same as signing in with Google, because Google handles account identity through its own sign-in flow.
If verification is required, Speako asks for a 6-digit code. The verification action is only ready once all 6 digits have been entered.
How to complete verification
Open the inbox for the email address you used during signup and look for the verification code. Enter the 6 digits exactly as shown, then continue.
If you manage multiple inboxes, check that you are looking at the same email address you entered in Speako. This is the most common source of confusion when the code does not arrive where expected.
💡 Tip: Keep the Speako verification screen open while checking your email so you can return and enter the code without restarting the signup flow.
If the code is not accepted
Try these checks before creating a new account:
- make sure all 6 digits are entered
- check for accidental spaces or copied characters
- confirm you are using the newest code if more than one email was sent
- verify that the email inbox matches the address used at signup
If the code still does not work, return to the signup flow and confirm the email address is correct.
Why this matters for setup
The account email is tied to the user who starts the workspace. After verification, Speako can continue into onboarding, where it collects the business category, subtype, first location details, and AI Agent phone number selection.
Do not skip verification if Speako asks for it. Without a verified account, the setup flow may not be able to continue reliably.
