Filtering Notifications
The Notifications page shows all notifications by default, but you can filter by type or read status to find what you're looking for more quickly.
Filtering by type
At the top of the Notifications page, there is a tab bar with the following filter options:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every notification, regardless of type |
| Billing | Payment and subscription notifications |
| Booking | Booking creation, modification, and cancellation events |
| System | Account and configuration events |
| Maintenance | Scheduled maintenance and service updates |
| News | Product announcements and feature releases |
| Usage | Voice minute usage alerts |
Click any tab to filter the list to that type. The count shown in the header updates to reflect the filtered list.
Showing unread only
Next to the tab bar, there is a Show unread only button. Click it to filter the list to unread notifications only, regardless of type. The button label changes to Showing unread when active.
You can combine this with a type filter — for example, show only unread Billing notifications by selecting the Billing tab and enabling Show unread only.
Resetting filters
To return to the full unfiltered view:
- Click the All tab to remove the type filter.
- Click Showing unread again to disable the unread-only filter.
Combining filters
Filters work together:
- Type tab determines which notification categories are shown.
- Show unread only further restricts to unread items within that type.
For example, to check if you have any unread billing alerts: click the Billing tab, then enable Show unread only.
Empty states
If no notifications match your current filter, you'll see:
- No [type] notifications — if a type filter is applied with no results.
- No unread notifications — if the unread-only filter is active with no unread items.
If your inbox has no notifications at all, you'll see the general empty state: No notifications yet. New updates will appear here when they arrive.
💡 Tip: During the first few weeks of using Speako, checking the Usage tab regularly is a good habit. This tab shows your voice minute consumption alerts before you run out, giving you time to buy more minutes or adjust your plan.
