Per-Member Booking Email Preferences
Each dashboard team member can be configured to receive (or not receive) booking notification emails. This lets you control who on your team gets notified when a booking is made, modified, or cancelled — without adjusting global notification settings.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Team Members. In each team member's row, there is a toggle or switch for booking email notifications.
What the preference controls
When a team member's booking email preference is enabled, they receive email notifications for bookings at the locations they have access to. This includes:
- New bookings
- Booking modifications
- Cancellations
When disabled, they do not receive these emails, regardless of booking activity.
How to change a team member's preference
- Go to Settings → Team Members.
- Find the team member whose preference you want to update.
- Toggle their booking email preference on or off.
The change saves immediately. A toast confirms: Email notification preference has been updated.
Who can change this preference?
Only the Owner can update team members' booking email preferences. You can also update your own preference.
💡 Tip: If your team includes a manager who should always know about new bookings plus front-of-house staff who don't need email alerts, enable the preference for the manager only. This reduces email noise for staff who check the calendar directly instead.
⚠️ Important: This preference controls notification emails only. It does not affect whether the team member can see bookings in the dashboard — all team members with dashboard access can view the booking calendar based on their role.
Owner's own preference
The Owner's booking email preference can also be toggled, just like other team members. If the Owner doesn't want to receive individual booking emails (for example, if another manager handles that), they can disable it for themselves.
Relationship to notification recipients
The booking email preference on the Team Members page is separate from any specific notification recipient settings in your booking confirmation configuration. Both control email delivery but at different levels — the team member preference is a per-person on/off switch.
