Settings Overview
The Settings section of the Speako dashboard is where you manage the services and access controls for your business. It covers the features that affect how your business operates — not the AI agent's personality or knowledge, which live in the AI Receptionists section.
How to access Settings
Click Settings in the dashboard sidebar. The Settings area is at the bottom of the sidebar, below the main operational sections (Bookings, Customers, Team, etc.).
What's in Settings
Settings is organised into several subsections:
Voice AI On/Off Turn your AI receptionist on or off for your phone line. You can also schedule specific hours when the AI should answer calls, separate from your regular operating hours.
Online Booking Page Enable and customise the public-facing booking page that customers can visit to book without calling. Includes logo and banner uploads, colour theme, description, policies, and your booking page link.
Dashboard Team Access Invite colleagues to access the dashboard, assign them roles (Owner, Admin, or Member), and manage who can do what.
Notifications View and manage in-dashboard notifications about bookings, billing, usage, and system updates.
Where is billing?
Billing (plans, voice minutes, invoices, payment methods) has its own dedicated section in the sidebar — it's separate from Settings. See the Billing & Plans section of this help centre for those topics.
Where is my personal profile?
Your personal account profile (name, password, connected accounts, email preferences) is also separate from business Settings. Look for Profile or Account in the sidebar or the top navigation.
Per-location vs account-wide settings
Some settings apply to your whole business account (e.g. dashboard team members, who have access to all locations). Others are per-location — the Voice AI toggle and booking page settings apply to the currently active location only.
When you change a setting that is per-location, make sure you have the correct location active in your dashboard. Look for the location name at the top of the sidebar or in the header to confirm which location is in context.
See Per-Location vs Account-Wide Settings for a full breakdown.
💡 Tip: The Settings page itself redirects to your profile view by default. Use the sidebar subsections (or the navigation within Settings) to jump to specific areas like Voice AI, Booking Page, or Team.
