Why Payments Fail

Common reasons for payment failure:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Expired card
  • Card blocked for online purchases
  • Incorrect card details
  • Bank security blocks

Fixing a Failed Payment

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Billing
  2. You'll see an alert about the failed payment
  3. Click to update your payment method
  4. Enter valid card details
  5. The payment will retry automatically

Updating Your Card

If your card expired or was replaced:

  1. Purchase extra minutes to update your card
  2. The new card becomes your default
  3. Future payments will use the new card

Card Declined

If your card is declined:

  • Check the card number is correct
  • Verify the expiration date
  • Ensure CVV is correct
  • Check billing address matches

Bank Blocks

Your bank may block the transaction:

  • Contact your bank to authorize Speako payments
  • Add Speako as a trusted merchant
  • Try a different card if issues persist

What Happens After Failure

When a payment fails:

  1. You receive an email notification
  2. An alert appears on your billing page
  3. We'll retry the payment automatically
  4. Your subscription may be paused if not resolved
