"No AI Agent Number" appears on the page

This means no phone number has been provisioned for your location yet.

⚠️ Important: Phone numbers are assigned automatically during onboarding. You cannot manually add or provision a number from the Phone Number page. If the page shows "No AI Agent Number — Complete onboarding to provision an AI Agent phone number", finish the onboarding flow for this location first.

If you believe onboarding is complete but no number is showing, contact Speako support.


The status badge shows "Setup required"

An orange Setup required badge means you haven't confirmed that call forwarding is active in Speako.

Click Setup in the Call Forwarding Setup row, follow the instructions in the sheet to configure forwarding with your telecom provider, then check the confirmation checkbox and click Confirm. The badge will update to Forwarding ready once saved.

💡 Note: If the Setup button is disabled (greyed out), it means no AI Agent phone number is assigned yet. See the section above.


Calls aren't reaching the AI Agent

A Forwarding ready badge in Speako confirms you've completed the confirmation step — it does not guarantee your telecom provider has forwarding active.

If calls to your business number are ringing normally instead of reaching the AI Agent, check the following:

  • Your telecom provider's forwarding is actually enabled. Log back in to your provider's portal and verify the forwarding rule is active and pointing to the correct AI Agent phone number.
  • The correct number was entered. Use the copy button on the Phone Number page to get the exact number and double-check what's entered with your provider.
  • Forwarding applies to the right conditions. Some providers let you configure forwarding only when busy, only when unanswered, or always. Make sure the forwarding condition matches how you want calls handled.

💡 Tip: Make a test call from a different phone to your business number after any provider-side change to confirm calls are being redirected correctly.


The Setup button shows a "No Phone Number" toast when clicked

This toast — "No Phone Number — Please assign an AI Agent Phone Number first" — appears when you click Setup but no number has been provisioned. Complete onboarding to resolve this.
