AI Polishing reviews a single greeting and suggests corrections. It is best for improving wording you have already written, rather than generating brand-new alternatives.

Use it when you like the message but want help checking typos, grammar, punctuation, or variable names.

Where to find AI Polishing

Each greeting card has an AI Polishing button.

You'll find it on:

  • Initial Greeting
  • Return Customer Greeting
  • After Hours Message
  • Recording Disclosure

Select AI Polishing on the greeting you want to review. While Speako checks the text, the button changes to Polishing....

If the greeting is empty, Speako asks you to enter some text before polishing.

What the result shows

After polishing, Speako shows an AI Polishing Result card.

If changes are suggested, the result includes:

  • Polished Text
  • Corrections Made
  • Correction groups such as Typos, Grammar, Punctuation, and Variables
  • Apply Changes
  • Dismiss

If no changes are needed, the result says No corrections needed and Your text is already polished and error-free!

Applying polished text

Select Apply Changes to replace the greeting text with the polished version. Select Dismiss if you do not want to use it.

Applying the polished version only updates the text box. To make the change active, use Save Changes in the bottom banner.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Read the polished text aloud before saving. A sentence can be grammatically correct but still sound too formal or too long for a phone greeting.

Variable checks

AI Polishing can flag variable issues, but you should still check variable spelling yourself.

Supported variables use double curly braces, for example:

{{business_name}}

{{customer_first_name}}

{{recording_disclosure}}

Do not rename variables to make them look nicer. They need to stay exactly as shown so Speako can replace them correctly.

When not to use polishing

Do not rely on AI Polishing to decide your legal recording-disclosure wording. It can help with clarity, but your business is responsible for choosing compliant text.

Do not use polishing as a substitute for previewing. After applying a polished version, use the eye icon and speaker icon to check how the greeting appears and sounds with real business details.
