Purchasing Extra Minute Packages
If you expect to exceed your plan's monthly voice minute allowance — or you've already run low — you can buy top-up packages to add more minutes to your account.
Where to buy extra minutes
- Go to Dashboard → Billing.
- Click the Buy more minutes button (visible on the Extra Minutes card or in the Usage Warning banner).
- A dialog opens showing available minute packages.
Available packages
Three package sizes are available, each with a different per-minute cost. Larger packages offer a lower cost per minute:
| Package | Minutes | Per-minute cost |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 50 | Higher per minute |
| Medium (popular) | 100 | Mid-range |
| Large | 250 | Lower per minute |
💡 Tip: If you regularly run low, the large package offers the best value. If it's a one-off month, the small package is the least commitment.
How to purchase
- In the Buy Minutes dialog, review the package options. The popular package (100 minutes) is pre-selected.
- Click a package to select it.
- Click the purchase/confirm button to complete the transaction.
- The minutes are added to your extra minutes balance immediately.
How extra minutes work
Extra minutes are a separate balance that tops up when your plan minutes run out. The AI automatically draws from your extra minutes once your plan allowance is exhausted. You can have multiple packages active at the same time.
Extra minutes remain on your account until they are used — they do not expire at the end of a billing cycle the way plan minutes do.
Viewing your packages
After purchasing, click View packages on the Extra Minutes card to see your package history and remaining balance per package.
⚠️ Important: Purchasing extra minutes does not affect your base plan allowance. Your plan minutes still reset each cycle as normal — extra minutes are an add-on, not a replacement for your plan's included minutes.
When to consider upgrading instead
If you're consistently buying top-up packages every month, it may be more cost-effective to upgrade to a higher plan. Compare the monthly cost of your current plan + packages to the next plan tier to decide.
