Trial Limitations
The free trial gives you a taste of the full Speako platform, but there are a few things to be aware of during the trial period.
Limited voice minutes
The trial includes a set number of voice minutes. This is enough for testing and exploring the platform, but not necessarily enough for handling full production call volume. Once the trial minutes are used up, your AI will stop answering calls unless you activate a subscription.
Trial expiry
The trial has a fixed end date shown on the Billing page. It does not renew and does not extend. If the trial ends and you haven't activated, your access to live call handling may be paused.
What's available during the trial
All the configuration and management features of the platform are available during the trial:
- Setting up your AI receptionist, greetings, and knowledge base.
- Configuring your booking page.
- Adding services, hours, and staff.
- Making test calls.
What's not affected by trial limitations
- Dashboard team member invitations still work during the trial.
- Bookings made during the trial are real bookings โ they are not test data.
- The AI configuration you set up during the trial carries forward after activation.
The distinction between trial access and feature access
Trial access is about time and minutes โ how long you can test and how many call minutes you get. Feature access during the trial depends on which plan your trial is associated with. If your trial is based on the Advance plan, for example, you'll have access to the branded booking page during the trial.
๐ก Tip: Use the trial period to set up your configuration fully โ don't just test one or two features. The more you set up and verify during the trial, the smoother your launch to customers will be once you activate.
โ ๏ธ Important: Calls made during the trial are real, answered by a real AI, and customers can make real bookings. If you're testing, use a separate phone number or ask a colleague to call โ don't rely on real customers calling during your testing phase.
Activating early
There's no benefit to waiting for the trial to expire before activating. If you've tested what you need and you're ready to go live, activate your subscription immediately. See Activating Your Subscription.
