Upgrading Your Plan
If you need more locations, more dashboard team members, or a higher voice minute allowance, you can upgrade your Speako plan at any time.
Where to upgrade
Go to Dashboard → Billing. On the Billing page, look for the plan management section or the Upgrade plan link. Clicking it takes you to the plan selection page where you can view your options and choose a higher tier.
How upgrading works
- Go to the Billing page and click Upgrade plan.
- Review the available plan tiers. The current plan will be marked.
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to.
- Confirm the upgrade and complete the payment flow.
Upgrades take effect immediately. As soon as the upgrade is confirmed:
- Your plan limit for locations increases.
- Your voice minute allowance increases.
- Additional team member slots become available.
- Any features exclusive to the higher plan (e.g. branded booking page) are unlocked.
Proration
When you upgrade mid-cycle, Speako calculates a prorated amount based on the remaining days in your current billing period. You pay only for the portion of the higher plan you'll use in the current cycle — you're not charged twice for the same period.
Can you skip tiers?
Yes. You can upgrade from any plan directly to any higher-tier plan without going through intermediate steps. For example, you can go from Starter straight to Expert.
What about your existing data?
Upgrading does not affect any existing data — bookings, customers, team members, and AI configurations remain unchanged. You gain access to new capacity and features without losing anything already set up.
⚠️ Important: Upgrading requires a valid payment method on file. If your card has expired or a previous payment failed, update your payment method first before attempting to upgrade.
💡 Tip: If you're approaching your location limit frequently, consider upgrading before you hit it rather than waiting until you're blocked. Setting up a new location takes time — you don't want to be held up by a plan limit when you're ready to expand.
Annual vs monthly billing
When upgrading, you may have the option to switch to annual billing at the same time. Annual billing typically offers a discount. See Monthly vs Annual Billing for details.
