What is a Customer Profile?

A customer profile is a comprehensive record that stores all the essential information about a person who contacts or books with your business. Each profile is automatically created when a new customer interacts with your AI agent or when your team manually adds them.

Profile Information

Basic Details

Every customer profile includes:

  • First Name — The customer's given name (required)
  • Last Name — The customer's family name (required)
  • Email Address — For sending confirmations and communications
  • Phone Number — The primary contact number
  • Notes — Internal notes visible only to your team

Addresses

Customers can have multiple addresses on file:

  • Address Type — Home, work, or other
  • Street Address — The street name and number
  • City — The city or suburb
  • State — The state or province
  • Postal Code — The ZIP or postal code
  • Country — Defaults to Australia One address can be marked as the primary address for easy reference.

Organization

  • Customer Tags — Colour-coded labels for categorizing customers
  • Active Status — Whether the customer is currently active in your system

Automatic Profile Creation

When someone calls your AI agent for the first time, Speako can automatically create a customer profile using the information gathered during the conversation. This includes:

  • Name collected during the call
  • Phone number from caller ID
  • Any details shared during the booking process

Profile History

Speako maintains a history of changes to customer profiles:

  • Name Changes — Previous names are recorded with timestamps
