As your customer base grows, finding specific customers quickly becomes essential. This article explains the search and filter features in Speako's customer management.
Using the Search Bar
The search bar at the top of the customer list lets you find customers instantly.
What You Can Search
Type in the search bar to search across:
- Full Name — First and last name combined
- First Name — Just the first name
- Last Name — Just the last name
- Email Address — The customer's email
- Phone Number — The contact phone number
Search Tips
- Search is case-insensitive (searching "john" finds "John")
- Partial matches work (searching "smith" finds "Smithson")
- Results update as you type
Clearing Search
Click the X button in the search bar to clear your search and show all customers again.
Sorting Results
Combine search with sorting for more precise results:
- Enter your search term
- Click a column header to sort
- Click again to reverse the sort order
Sortable Columns
- Customer Name — Alphabetical by full name
- Email — Alphabetical by email address
- Created Date — When the customer was added
Pagination
For large customer lists:
- Results are displayed in pages
- Navigate using the pagination controls
- Each page shows up to 50 customers by default
Finding Customers by Tag
While there isn't a dedicated tag filter, you can quickly identify customers with specific tags:
- Look for the coloured tag badges in the customer list
- Use search in combination with visual tag scanning
- Sort by name to group similar customers together
