Your organization in Speako represents your business. This is where all your locations, team members, bookings, and settings live.
What is an Organization?
An organization is your business workspace in Speako. It contains:
- Locations — Your physical business locations (restaurants, salons, offices)
- Team members — People who help manage your business
- Billing — Your subscription and payment information
- Settings — Business-wide configuration
Creating Your Organization
Your organization is created automatically during the onboarding process when you:
- Enter your business name
- Select your business type
- Create your first location
Entering Your Business Name
In the first step of setup, enter your business name. This is the name customers will see and hear when interacting with your AI agent.
Examples:
- "Happy Sushi"
- "Downtown Dental"
- "Sarah's Hair Studio"
💡 Tip: Use your actual business name as it appears to customers. You can update this later in your business settings.
Organization Owner
The person who creates the organization becomes the Owner. As the owner, you have full access to:
- All settings and configuration
- Billing and subscription management
- Team member invitations
- All locations within the organization
Multiple Locations
One organization can have multiple locations. For example:
- "Happy Sushi" (organization)
Happy Sushi Parramatta (location)
Happy Sushi CBD (location)
Happy Sushi Chatswood (location)
Each location has its own:
- Operating hours
- Staff or tables
- Bookings
- AI agent configuration
Inviting Team Members
After setup, you can invite colleagues to help manage your business. Team members can be assigned different roles with varying levels of access.
