When creating a new location, you can copy settings from an existing one to save time and ensure consistency.

When to Copy Settings

Copying is ideal when:

  • Opening a new branch with similar operations
  • Maintaining consistent AI behavior across locations
  • Avoiding repetitive setup work
  • Keeping hours and services uniform

Starting a Copy

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Click Add Location
  3. Select Copy from Existing Location
  4. Choose the source location from the dropdown

What You Can Copy

Location Info

Contact and business details:

  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Website URL
  • Short description

Services (Service Businesses)

Your service offerings:

  • All services assigned to the source location
  • Service names, descriptions, and pricing
  • Staff assignments are NOT copied (selected separately)

Weekly Availability

Operating hours:

  • Regular weekly schedule
  • Open and closed days
  • Time slots for each day

Tables (Restaurants)

Table configuration:

  • All tables with names and numbers
  • Seating capacities
  • Zone assignments
  • Floor plan layout

Booking Page

Public booking page settings:

  • Styling and colors
  • Banner images
  • Business description
  • Maximum party size

Holidays

Holiday schedule:

  • All configured public holidays
  • Special closure dates

AI Configuration

AI agent settings:

  • Personality traits and tone
  • Voice selection
  • Greeting messages
  • Tool configurations
  • Response style

What is NOT Copied

Some things are always unique per location:

  • Phone numbers — Each location gets its own AI phone number
  • Bookings — Existing reservations don't transfer
  • Customers — Customer database is shared across locations
  • Staff assignments — Selected separately during creation

The Copy Process

  1. Select source location — Choose which location to copy from
  2. Check copy options — Select what you want to copy
  3. Enter basic details — Name, state, timezone for the new location
  4. Review and create — Confirm and create the location

After copying, update:
