If you no longer need a location, you can remove it from your account. Here's what you need to know about deleting locations.

Before Deleting

Consider these factors before removing a location:

Data Preservation

When a location is deleted:

  • All bookings for that location become inaccessible
  • Conversation history is no longer viewable
  • Staff assignments to that location are removed
  • The phone number may be reassigned

Alternatives to Deletion

Instead of deleting, you might:

  • Keep it inactive โ€” Stop accepting bookings but retain history
  • Update settings โ€” Repurpose the location for a new venue
  • Archive data โ€” Export important information first

Deleting a Location

To delete a location:

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Select the location you want to delete
  3. Look for the delete option in the location details
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

๐Ÿ’ก Note: You cannot delete your currently active location. Switch to a different location first.

What Gets Removed

When you delete a location:

What is NOT Removed

Item What Happens
Bookings No longer accessible
Conversations Removed from history
Staff assignments Staff unassigned from location
AI configuration Deleted
Phone number Released for reassignment
Booking page Deactivated
Availability Removed

Some data remains in your account:

  • Staff profiles โ€” Staff members themselves are not deleted
  • Customer records โ€” Customers remain in your database
  • Services โ€” Service definitions remain available

Location Limits

Deleting a location frees up capacity:

  • If you were at your plan limit, you can create a new location
  • Deleted locations no longer count toward your limit

Cannot Delete Your Only Location

If you have just one location:

  • You cannot delete it
  • Every account needs at least one location
  • Create a new location first if you need to replace it

Accidental Deletion

If you accidentally delete a location:

  • Contact support immediately
  • Some data may be recoverable
  • Act quickly for best results

Next Steps

  • Creating a New Location โ€” Set up a replacement
  • Location Limits by Plan โ€” Check your capacity
  • Switching Between Locations โ€” Manage your remaining locations
