How do I change what the AI says when it first answers? Go to AI Receptionists → [Your AI] → Greetings and update the opening greeting. You can write your own or use the AI Polish feature to improve it. After saving, click Publish to push the changes live.
How long does it take for my changes to go live? Most changes go live within 1–2 minutes after publishing. Knowledge base publishes may take a little longer. See How Long a Publish Takes to Go Live.
Can the AI book for more than one service or table at a time? The AI handles one booking per call. For multiple bookings, customers can call back or use the online booking page.
Can I give the AI a custom name? Yes. Go to AI Receptionists → [Your AI] → Personality and set a name for your AI receptionist. This name is used in greetings and during the conversation.
What languages does the AI support? Speako supports multiple languages. Go to AI Receptionists → [Your AI] → Voice & Languages to see the available languages and configure additional ones. Each language can have its own voice and greeting.
Can the AI send confirmation texts to customers? Yes. Enable the Send Booking Link tool in AI Receptionists → [Your AI] → AI Tools. After enabling, publish the AI. Customers will receive an SMS with a booking confirmation link after completing a booking.
Why is the AI saying something I didn't configure? The AI uses your knowledge base to answer questions. If it's saying something unexpected, review your knowledge base articles for content that may be being interpreted incorrectly. Also check that old articles with outdated information haven't been left in place.
How do I stop the AI from answering calls at certain times? Configure a Voice AI schedule in Settings → Voice AI or set specific hours when the AI is active. Outside those hours, calls are handled by your phone's default behaviour (voicemail, ring, etc.).
