Requesting a Feature
If there's something you'd like Speako to do that it currently doesn't, you can request a feature. Here's how the process works and what helps a request get traction.
How to request a feature
Through support: Contact Speako support (see Contacting Support) and describe the feature you'd like. Mark it as a feature request in your message.
Through in-app feedback: Use the in-app feedback option in the dashboard to describe your request directly.
What makes a good feature request
The more context you provide, the better the product team can understand the need and prioritise it. A strong feature request includes:
- The problem you're trying to solve — what can't you do right now, or what takes too long?
- The specific feature you'd like — describe it in plain terms. What would it look like? Where would it live in the dashboard?
- Why it matters to your business — how often do you encounter this need? What's the impact on your workflow or your customers?
- Any workaround you're currently using — if you've found a workaround, describe it. This helps the team understand the current pain.
What happens after you submit a request?
Feature requests are reviewed by the product team. High-value requests — especially those that multiple customers ask for — move up the priority list.
You may be contacted for more information or to participate in early feedback on a solution.
Not all feature requests result in a feature. Resource constraints, product focus, and technical feasibility all factor into what gets built. But the team genuinely uses customer feedback to guide the roadmap.
If the feature is urgent
If you need a specific capability urgently for your business, mention this in your request. In some cases, the team may be able to discuss a timeline or an interim solution.
💡 Tip: Frame your request around the outcome you need, not a specific solution. "I need a way to see which AI tool was used on each call" is more useful than "add a column to the Conversations table." The product team may find a better solution than the one you envisioned.
