Filter bookings by status to focus on what matters. This article explains how to use status filters in the booking calendar.
Booking Statuses
Bookings can have these statuses:
- Confirmed — Active, upcoming booking
- Cancelled — Booking was cancelled
- Modified — Original booking that was changed (new version exists)
- Completed — Service/meal was delivered
- Seated — Customer arrived (restaurants only)
Using Status Filters
To filter by status:
- Find the filter controls in the scheduler
- Select the status you want to see
- Calendar updates to show only matching bookings
- Clear filter to see all bookings
Filter Scenarios
See Active Bookings Only
Filter for Confirmed to see:
- Upcoming reservations
- Bookings that will happen
- Excludes cancelled/completed
Review Cancellations
Filter for Cancelled to see:
- Recently cancelled bookings
- Patterns in cancellations
- Free time that opened up
Check Completed Bookings
Filter for Completed to see:
- Past bookings that were fulfilled
- Service history
- Completed reservations
Multiple Filters
You may be able to combine filters:
- Confirmed + Seated
- All except Cancelled
- Depends on your interface options
Status Colors
Bookings are color-coded by status:
Each status has a distinct color
Makes visual scanning easy
Legend typically available Common color scheme:
Confirmed: Blue or green
Cancelled: Red or gray
Completed: Green
Modified: Orange
Filtering in List View
The list view offers additional filtering:
- Search by customer name
- Filter by date range
- Combine with status filter
- Sort by different columns
Clearing Filters
To see all bookings again:
- Clear the status filter
- Click "All" or "Reset"
- Filter selections are removed

Morning Check
Filter Confirmed to see today's active bookings.
End of Day
Filter Completed to review what was done.
Follow-Up
Filter Cancelled to understand no-shows or changes.
Capacity Review
View all statuses to see total booking activity.
