Each booking has detailed information you can view. This article explains how to access and understand booking details.

Accessing Booking Details

To view a booking's details:

  1. Find the booking in the calendar or list
  2. Click on the booking card
  3. The details panel or modal opens
  4. Full booking information is displayed

Booking Information

The details view shows:

Core Details

  • Booking reference — Unique identifier
  • Status — Confirmed, cancelled, etc.
  • Date and time — When the booking is scheduled
  • Duration — How long the booking lasts

Customer Information

  • Name — Customer's name
  • Phone — Contact number
  • Email — Email address (if provided)
  • Special requests — Notes from customer

Resource Information

For Restaurants:

  • Table assignment

  • Party size

  • Zone/section For Services:

  • Staff member assigned

  • Service type

  • Service duration

Timestamps

  • Created at
  • Last modified
  • Status changes

Understanding Status

The booking status tells you:

Actions from Details

Status Meaning
Confirmed Active, will happen
Cancelled Won't happen
Modified Changed (new version exists)
Completed Finished successfully
Seated Customer arrived (restaurants)

From the details view, you can:

  • Edit — Modify the booking
  • Cancel — Cancel the reservation
  • Complete — Mark as done
  • Contact — Reach the customer

Notes and History

Details may also show:

  • Internal notes from staff
  • Modification history
  • Customer communication
  • Previous bookings by same customer

Customer View

Customers can also view their booking:

  • Via link in confirmation email
  • Shows similar details
  • Can modify or cancel from there

Closing the Details

To close the details view:

  • Click the X or close button
  • Click outside the panel
  • Press Escape key (in some interfaces)
