The scheduler view is your central hub for managing bookings. This article explains how to navigate and use the booking calendar.

Accessing the Scheduler

  1. Navigate to Bookings in the sidebar
  2. The scheduler view opens, showing your bookings
  3. Today's date is highlighted by default

View Options

The scheduler offers multiple views:

Week View

See bookings across the entire week:

  • Days shown as columns
  • Time slots as rows
  • Bookings appear as cards at their scheduled times
  • Scroll horizontally for full week

Day View

Focus on a single day:

  • Detailed hourly view
  • All bookings for the selected date
  • Easier for busy days

Month View

See the big picture:

  • Calendar grid showing the month
  • Booking counts per day
  • Click a day to see details

List View

See bookings as a searchable list:

  • All bookings in chronological order
  • Search by customer name
  • Filter by status

Date Navigation

  • Today button — Jump to current date
  • Arrow buttons — Move forward/back by day, week, or month
  • Date picker — Jump to specific date

View Switcher

Toggle between Day, Week, Month, and List views using the view selector.

Booking Cards

Each booking appears as a card showing:

  • Customer name
  • Time
  • Party size (restaurants) or service (services)
  • Status indicator (color-coded)
  • Duration bar Click a card to view or edit booking details.

Real-Time Updates

The scheduler updates automatically:

  • New bookings appear instantly
  • Modifications reflect immediately
  • Cancellations update in real-time No need to refresh the page.

Business Type Selector

If you have both restaurant and service locations:

  • Switch between business types
  • See relevant bookings for each type
  • Filter controls adjust accordingly

Quick Actions

From the scheduler you can:

  • Click empty time to add booking
  • Click booking to view details
  • Drag bookings to reschedule (if supported)
