Filtering helps you narrow the booking list when a location has many bookings. In Speako, the most visible booking filters are in List view.
Search bookings
The list search can match several booking details, including:
- event title
- customer name
- customer email
- customer phone
- table name for restaurant bookings
- staff name for service bookings
- service name for service bookings
- notes, special requests, and description text
This makes search useful for support questions when the customer gives a phone number, name, service, or booking reference context.
Show cancelled bookings
List view hides cancelled bookings by default. Use the cancelled-booking toggle when you need to review cancellations.
When the toggle is off, cancelled bookings are excluded. When the toggle is on, the list shows only cancelled bookings.
Filter by service status
List view also includes a Status filter for service status tags. These are different from the core booking status. Service status tags are operational labels configured for the location, such as workflow or outcome labels.
Only active service status tags appear in the filter. If a booking has no service status tag, it will not appear when a service-status filter is selected.
About source filtering
Bookings store a source value, such as dashboard or web, but the current List view controls are focused on search, grouping, sorting, cancelled-booking visibility, and service status tags. Do not tell users to use a source filter unless the product UI shows one.
⚠️ Important: If you are writing support instructions, describe only the filters users can actually see.
If filtering hides too much
Clear search text, turn off the cancelled-only view, and clear any service-status filters. Then confirm the selected location and date before assuming a booking is missing.
Support workflow example
If a customer calls and says they have a booking, start with their phone number or name in search. If nothing appears, clear search and check the date and location. If the customer says they cancelled, turn on the cancelled-booking toggle. If your team uses operational tags, clear the service-status filter so untagged bookings are not hidden.
