Choosing Tag Colours

Each tag has a colour that helps you identify it quickly in the customer list. Consider:

  • Consistent meanings — Use red for urgent tags, green for positive tags
  • Visual distinction — Choose colours that stand out from each other
  • Team familiarity — Use colours your team will easily remember The default colour is light blue (#89CFF0).

Tag Naming Tips

Good tag names are:

  • Short and clear — "VIP" rather than "Very Important Customer"
  • Action-oriented — "Follow-up Needed" rather than "Might Need Help"
  • Consistent — Use a standard format across all tags

Tag Limits

Each location can have up to 100 customer tags. This gives you plenty of flexibility while keeping your tag system manageable.

Tag Slugs

Each tag automatically gets a URL-friendly slug based on its name. For example:

  • "VIP Customer" becomes vip-customer
  • "New Lead" becomes new-lead Slugs are used internally and must be unique within your location.
