What Are Tasks?
Tasks are background processes that Speako runs for you:
- File uploads (PDFs, spreadsheets)
- URL content ingestion
- Knowledge base synchronization
- Data processing operations
Accessing the Task List
- Navigate to Dashboard > Tasks
- View all tasks for your account
Task Information
Each task displays:
Task Types
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| File/Input | Filename or URL being processed |
| Task Type | Kind of operation |
| Status | Current state with visual indicator |
| Location | Which location the task belongs to |
| Priority | Processing priority level |
| Action | View details button |
Common task types include:
- File Upload: Processing uploaded documents
- URL Ingestion: Importing content from web pages
- Knowledge Sync: Updating knowledge base content
Searching Tasks
Use the search box to find tasks:
- Search by filename
- Search by URL
- Search by task type
- Search by status
Refreshing
Click the refresh button to:
- Get the latest task status
- See newly created tasks
- Update progress information
