Location Limits by Plan
Speako allows you to create multiple locations — each with its own AI receptionist. The number of locations you can have at once is determined by your current plan.
How limits work
Each Speako plan includes an allowance for a certain number of locations. When you reach that limit, the dashboard prevents you from creating additional locations until you upgrade.
When you try to create a new AI receptionist and your limit has been reached, you'll see a message like:
"Your [plan name] plan allows [number] location(s). Please upgrade to create more locations."
The exact number shown is based on the limit defined for your specific plan.
Checking your current usage
To see how many locations you have and whether you're approaching your limit:
- Go to AI Receptionists in the dashboard sidebar.
- The list shows all your existing receptionists. The total count visible gives you a quick read on your current usage.
- If you're close to the limit and want to know the exact number allowed, refer to your plan details on the Billing page.
What counts toward the limit
Each active AI receptionist/location counts toward your limit, regardless of whether it is currently answering calls. A location created but not yet configured still occupies a slot.
Upgrading to add more locations
If you need more locations than your current plan allows:
- Go to Dashboard → Billing (or the Billing & Plans section).
- Review the available plans to find one that supports the number of locations you need.
- Follow the upgrade steps to switch plans.
Once your plan is upgraded, you can immediately create new locations up to the new limit.
💡 Tip: If you're unsure whether you'll need multiple locations, start with one and upgrade only when you're ready to expand. You won't lose any existing configuration when you upgrade.
⚠️ Important: Downgrading to a plan with a lower location limit while you have more active locations than the lower tier allows may affect your service. Review the downgrade considerations carefully before switching to a lower plan.
Trial accounts
During your trial period, location creation may also be subject to trial-specific limits. Check the trial details on your Billing page for the exact allowance.
