You can connect your Instagram and Facebook profiles to your Speako business so customers can find and follow you directly from your booking page.

Where to find them

Go to Dashboard โ†’ Business Information. Scroll to the Contact Information card. Near the bottom of the card you'll find the Instagram and Facebook fields.

Instagram

Enter your Instagram handle โ€” the username that appears after the @ symbol in your profile URL.

Validation: The handle must start with @. If you enter a handle without the @ prefix, the field will show a validation error and the change won't save.

Valid example: @yourbusiness
Invalid example: yourbusiness (missing @)

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: You can find your handle in the Instagram app under your profile tab. It's the text in smaller grey font below your display name.

Facebook

Enter the full URL to your Facebook page.

Validation: The URL must be a valid Facebook or FB domain address. It must begin with http:// or https:// and use a recognised Facebook domain (e.g. facebook.com or fb.com).

Valid examples:

  • https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness
  • https://fb.com/yourbusiness

Invalid examples:

  • yourbusiness (not a URL)
  • https://instagram.com/yourbusiness (wrong domain)
  1. Open Business Information from the dashboard.
  2. In the Contact Information card, enter your Instagram handle and/or Facebook page URL in the relevant fields.
  3. A floating Save Changes bar will appear at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Save Changes to apply. Click Discard to cancel all unsaved changes on the page.

What if I don't use one of these platforms?

Both fields are optional. Leave either or both blank if your business doesn't maintain a presence there. Only the platforms you have filled in will be shown to customers.

โš ๏ธ Important: Speako does not validate whether the handle or page URL you enter actually exists โ€” it only checks the format. Make sure the links you add lead to your active, up-to-date pages. Dead links on your booking page can erode customer trust.

Saving changes

Social media links save together with all other Contact Information fields when you click Save Changes in the floating bar. Clicking away from the page without saving will discard your changes.
