Your AI phone number is assigned when you create a location. This article explains the process and what to expect.

Automatic Assignment

Phone number assignment happens automatically during location creation:

  1. You create a new location
  2. Speako checks available numbers
  3. A suitable number is assigned
  4. The number appears in your dashboard No manual steps required — it's handled for you.

Viewing Your Assigned Number

To see your AI phone number:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings
  2. Look for Your AI Number section
  3. The phone number is displayed with country flag You can copy this number with one click.

Understanding Your Number

Your assigned number includes:

  • Country code — Matches your location's country
  • Area code — Matches your region when possible
  • Phone number — Unique to your location

What Happens Next

After assignment:

  1. Configure your AI agent (greetings, voice, etc.)
  2. Set up call forwarding from your business number
  3. Test with a call
  4. Go live

Multiple Locations

Each location gets its own phone number:

  • Location A → Phone Number A
  • Location B → Phone Number B This allows callers to reach the right location's AI agent.
