The Owner is the person who created the Speako account and has the highest level of access.
What Makes the Owner Special
The Owner role is unique because:
- There can only be one owner per account
- The owner is always the person who created the account
- This role cannot be changed or transferred
- The owner cannot be removed from the account
Owner Capabilities
The Owner has full access to everything:
Team Management
- Invite new team members
- Remove team members
- Change team member roles
- Revoke pending invitations
- Update any member's notification preferences
Business Management
- Edit all business information
- Manage all locations
- Configure all AI settings
- Access all bookings and scheduling
- Manage billing and subscription
How to Identify the Owner
In the Team Members list, the owner has an Owner badge next to their name.
Owner Restrictions
Even the owner has some limitations:
- Cannot change their own role
- Cannot remove themselves
- Cannot be demoted to Admin or Member
