Use Team to manage the people who provide services for your business. This area is for service businesses; restaurant-only accounts use table and floor-plan setup instead of team-member scheduling.

Add a team member when someone should appear in your service availability, be assigned to services, or be available for customer bookings.

Before you add someone

Check that the team member belongs in Speako as a service provider, not only as a dashboard user. A dashboard user can log in and manage Speako. A team member is someone customers can book with, such as a stylist, consultant, therapist, or other service provider.

Also review your services first. When adding a team member, Speako lets you select which services they can perform.

Open the Add Team Member sheet

From Team, select Add Team Member. If your team list is empty, Speako shows No team members yet with Add Your First Team Member.

The sheet is titled Add Team Member and says Create a new team member and assign services and job titles.

Information you can add

The add form includes:

The Add Team Member button is unavailable until a name is entered. If the phone number or email is invalid, Speako asks you to correct it before saving.

Service selection

When services exist, Speako shows a searchable service list. You can select all, deselect all, or choose services one by one. If no services are available, create services first before relying on this team member for bookings.

⚠️ Important: A team member without assigned services may appear in Team, but they may not be available for service bookings until services are linked.

After adding

After the team member is added, Speako refreshes the team list and marks availability-related setup as changed. Review the new team member's working hours, date-specific availability, services, and job titles before customers book with them.
