Edit a team member when their name, contact details, bio, profile image, job titles, services, or primary location need to change. Keeping this information current helps your team manage bookings and helps customers see accurate service-provider details where those details are shown.

Open Team, then use the edit action beside the team member.

What the profile shows

The team member profile opens with three main tabs:

Tab What it controls
Details Name, phone number, email, bio, profile image, status, primary location, and job titles
Services Which services this team member can perform
Working Hours Weekly hours, date-specific hours, and other-location scheduling

The top of the profile shows the team member's name, profile image or icon, and an Active or Inactive badge.

Editing basic details

In Details, each editable area has its own Edit control. You can change:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Bio

Use Save to keep a field change or Cancel to discard it. Email must use a valid email format. Phone numbers are checked for valid formatting when entered.

💡 Tip: Keep names clear and customer-friendly. If customers choose a specific provider, the name should be recognisable to both your team and your customers.

Editing the profile image

The Details tab includes profile image upload controls. You can update or remove the team member's image from the profile.

Profile images are most useful when customers or staff need to recognise providers quickly. Use a professional image or a clear avatar, and avoid images that could confuse customers.

Changing the primary location

The Primary Location section includes a Change action. When you move a team member to a different primary location, Speako checks whether the move could affect services and availability.

If the team member is the only provider for a service at the old location, Speako warns that callers requesting that service may find no availability. If some of the team member's services are not configured at the new location, Speako warns that those services will not appear in booking availability there.

After editing

After any meaningful team change, review the team member's services and working hours. A correct name is helpful, but bookings depend most on the service links and availability settings.
